take Exit 228
west about 9 miles to Corvallis (this is Hwy 34 and becomes Harrison
St. in
Corvallis). Continue through Corvallis, past University dairy barns. At
traffic
light, turn left onto 53rd St. Fairgrounds is just past the mobile home
park on
your right. From Hwy
99W, turn west on

NAMHSATM MEMBER SHOW: 1st & 2nd place models in Open divisions
will
receive cards & qualify to compete at North American Nationals (NANTM) in 2012 or 2013. 4.
ELIGIBILITY:
This show is open to anyone to enter (no membership required) and to
all brands
& types (plastic, china, etc.) of models, figurines or statues. A
judge who
customized a model shall not judge that model in any class. Judges
shall not
compete in or proxy in division(s) they are judging. Show management
shall not
compete. 5.
DIVISIONS: DIVISION
A - OF CHINA/RESIN DIVISION: any
brand of original finish china or resin; all sizes DIVISION
B - OF STONE HALTER: original
finish large Peter Stone models; no minis
(Pebbles or Chips) DIVISION
C - CUSTOMIZED/ARTIST RESIN (CM/AR) MINI
HALTER DIVISION: For models
which have been
touched-up, repainted, remade, haired or any combination of these;
artist
resins & original sculptures shall compete in this division. Under
approximately 4" at ear tips or of that scale (Little Bits/Pebbles and
smaller) DIVISION
D - CM/AR PERFORMANCE DIVISION:
for any size or type of customized, artist resin, or
custom glaze models DIVISION
E - YOUTH DIVISION: (not NAN Qualifying
classes) For youth 14
years or younger
as of Jan. 1, 2012. May show OF plastic models or models customized by
the
entrant only. Each halter category has one OF china/resin class; those
models
may enter only the one most appropriate class. China/resin models may
also
enter Youth Performance. Youth may not
cross enter to any other divisions; except they may enter Scene,
Collection,
and Fantasy/Mascot. The same models may NOT be shown in Open by
another
entrant. Tack used in Youth performance may NOT be used in Open by
another
entrant. Youth must set up their own entries in halter and performance;
an
adult may give verbal advice, but shall not touch the model/tack. If
you're
unsure of breeds or which class to enter, please ask show holder or
judge. DIVISION
F - COLLECTIBILITY/MISCELLANEOUS: (no Grand/Reserve in this miscellaneous
division) SCENE
CLASS: Must
include at least one equine; Youth Division entrants may enter at no
additional
charge. 1 entry per person COLLECTIONS:
8 models of same make. Conga Line for 8 models of same mold. Same
collection
may not enter both collection classes. Exactly 8 models,
regardless if
sold as set. 30" of table space allowed per collection; models should
be
labeled with collectibility information;
risers/cloth cover recommended; 1
entry per person; judging criteria include condition, age, rarity,
value,
value, presentation. Youth Division
entrants may enter at no additional charge. Label entry
with your R1 number or tag code on a card. FANTASY/MASCOT:
No live animals. Not NAN Qualifying. Youth entrants may enter at no
additional
charge. COLLECTIBILITY
Classes 5-19: Must be
equine; 4 entries per person per class; must
include documentation that either came with the model or you have
prepared.
Include model name, year(s) produced, number produced, note of special
variation, etc.) No minis in
Classes 5-13; Minis may enter
Classes 14-19 Realistic
Color = colors seen on live equine; Non-Realistic Color = fantasy
colors,
woodgrain, or anything not seen on live equine "Original

HALTER DIVISION: For original
finish plastic
models under approximately 4” at ear tips or of that scale. Includes
Breyer
LittleBits, Stablemates, & Mini Whinnies; Micro Minis; Hartland
Tiny Mites;
Schleich, Stone Chips & Pebbles; etc. Plastic
Minis must only enter Mini Division; no cross entry to Stone or Breyer
Divisions. Non-realistic color minis should enter appropriate
Non-Realistic
Color class only. Mini OF china/resins shall compete in OF
China/Resin
Division. Any OF Mini (plastic or C/R) may compete in OF Performance. * ORIGINAL FINISH NOTE: Applies to all
OF classes -- For factory
finish models. No
alterations are allowed, such as adding/removing socks, blazes,
eyewhites, etc.
Sealants, baby oil or similar product shall not be applied to OF
models.
Unnoticeable minor touchups to restore model to original
color/condition are
allowed. 6.
GENERAL: Classes
may be split at judge’s &/or show management’s discretion. "Other
Perf" is any event not listed (if showmanship, must use doll). Costumes
& saddles must have a girth Each

are not required or recommended in breed or collectibility; if used,
should fit

CLASS ORDER: 5 divisions will
be judged simultaneously on separate tables following
the order printed on class list. 12.
TIME LIMITS: 3 minutes
maximum preceding halter classes; 7 minutes maximum
preceding performance classes. If necessary, timers will be used to
enforce
time limits. Two sets of tables will be used in each division to
facilitate set
up. 13.
LEG TAGS:
You
must provide & fill out your own tags String

& proper entry fee for their proxy shown model(s). The designee
shows the
models on the owner's behalf. No extra table space is provided. No door
prize
or program. 15.

management reserves the
right to replace a judge in the event the judge has an emergency and
cannot
attend. Every effort will be made to notify entrants of substitute
judges if
there is time before the show date. DECISIONS
OF THE JUDGES ARE FINAL. 16.
CHAMPIONSHIPS: will be
determined from judge-offs (call backs) of 1st & 2nd place
winners. Champions and reserves will compete for Grand/Reserve Grand of
their
division as indicated on class list. 17.
AWARDS: Commercial
flat ribbons 1st-6th in Open classes; 1st-10th in Youth classes,
Collections,
Scene & Fantasy/Mascot Rosette
to Champions & Reserve Champions Rosette
and award to Grands & Reserve Grands ALES
Pursuit of Excellence award to any champion or reserve long ear
competing
against horses/ponies Lakeshore-donated
flats to Lakeshore class in OF China/Resin Division 18.
RESULTS:
complete results provided to all entrants after show (YahooGroups file,
on show
web site, e-mail or US mail) 19.
COURTESY:
Please: look, but do not touch anything without owner's permission;
stay clear
of show tables while judging is in progress; pack in a timely fashion;
clean
your area before leaving. Help putting away tables & chairs after
show is
greatly appreciated! 20.
AUCTION:
if items of significant value are donated, they will be auctioned or
sold (at
show or online) at show holder's discretion 21.
RAFFLE/DOOR PRIZES: Donations
are welcome! Donors
of door prizes get a free black/white classified or horizontal business
card-size
ad Donors
of raffle items get a free black/white full-page ad Each
donor’s name goes into special donors’ drawing. Raffle
tickets are 50 cents each, 5 for $2, 15 for $5 All
entrants' names will go into free door prize drawings 22.
SPONSORSHIPS: $1
per class (get free classified or horizontal business card-size ad) $5
per championship (get free full-page copy ready ad) For
each $1 of sponsorship, your name goes into a special sponsors’ drawing 23.

SELLING/TRADING: You may
display models, tack, etc. for sale or trade on your table.

will be assigned; each entrant (whose form & fees are received by
April 5)
gets an 8' table & 2 chairs (late entrants may have to share
tables); you
may bring your own table cloth; you may rent an additional show table
for $20. 26.
ENTERING/DEADLINES: Use
enclosed entry form. Fees and deadlines are
listed on it. Sorry, no PayPal. 27.
ADDING/CHANGING MODELS: Any
changes/additions must be provided in writing to
the showholder on show day (forms & drop-box will be provided to
submit
this information). No need to report models previously listed, but not
shown. 28.
LUNCH:
We will break around noon for approximately 30 minutes regardless
of where we are on class list. Sack lunches may be
pre-ordered. (see lunch order form for price and details) Fast food
places
(Burger King, Subway, Quiznos) and Safeway are within a 5-minute drive
at
intersection of 53rd St. & Hwy 20/34; or bring your
lunch and
eat & visit in the show hall. 29.
