2008-2009 TUITION RATES

PK-4 tuition is $2110 for all students, tuition assistance is not available.

Students in grades K-8 full cost tuition is $5750.00. or

All tuition payments are made through our Electronic Tuition Payment Plan which is done through electronic funds transfer.

The cost to educate each student at St. Mary’s School is $5750.00. Tuition, parish subsidies and fundraising are the three major sources of income for our school. Families with students in grades K-8 have three possible options for tuition.

Option A:

Families that choose full cost tuition are expected to meet the following criteria:

·         Pay full cost to educate;

• Complete Fair Share Hours Requirement: Two parent families-36 hours, single parent families-20 hours per year. At the end of May, parents will be billed for any hours not served at a rate of $10.00 per hour.

Option B:

Families that choose subsidized tuition rates are expected to meet the following criteria:

·         Pay subsidized tuition;

• Be registered as parishioners of St. Mary’s, Albany, St, Mary’s, Corvallis or St. Edward’s, Lebanon; St. Thomas, Jefferson
• Attend Mass on a weekly basis;
• Have a commitment card on file at parish office (applies only to St. Mary’s, Albany parishioners);
• Made a financial commitment and contribution to respective parish on a weekly/monthly basis through the use of the parish envelope system or parish EFT (electronic funds transfer);
• Record the amount donated to St. Mary’s, Albany (the amount should reflect what was given from January 07 to December 07)________________; (contact parish office if you need to verify amount)
• Contribute and participate in fundraising activities for the school (auction, Scrip and Parent Association fundraisers;

• Have a signed “Out-of-Parish” form from Pastor (applies only to St. Mary’s, Corvallis and St. Edward’s, Lebanon, St. Thomas, Jefferson).

Option C:

Families that choose nonsubsidized tuition rates are expected to meet the following criteria:

·         Pay nonsubsidized tuition;

• Contribute and participate in fundraising activities for the school (auction, Scrip and Parent Association fundraisers;

• Complete Fair Share Hours Requirement: Two parent families-36 hours, single parent families-20 hours per year. At the end of May, parents will be billed for any hours not served at a rate of $10.00 per hour.

Tuition Assistance

Families that meet above requirements for Option B or C are also eligible to apply for 2 types of tuition assistance. If you would like to apply for a tuition assistance grant from the Archdiocese, all applications need to be done by March 30, 2008. If you would like to apply for a tuition assistance grant from St. Mary’s Parish, all applications need to be done by May 15, 2008. Families will be notified of grant funding by May 31, 2008.
