The St. John's Children's Choir has a new Compact Disc recording.

 


The recording -- Peter's Denial -- Is a CD project that has been in development for more than a year. The music was written in 1997 and was refashioned into the versions that are heard on the CD. The CD was recorded to reflect the performances that were done live for the Easter play. The play Peter's Denial and the music presented here, are designed for a large church or school to be able to produce on their own. This very memorable program is great for a kids or adults group to perform in a theatrical setting. Available Now: Tumon Bay

This new CD single has two versions of the song "Tumon Bay" co-written by Dave Janssen and Jeff Patterson. The CD Features: Natasha Melwani and Sanae Okada, and the voices of the St. John's Children's Choir. Recorded on the island of Guam in the South Pacific, the song captures the gentle relaxed feel of a tropical island paradise. The CD is available from Green Flash Records. The CD includes both English and Japanese versions of "Tumon Bay."

 

 


From the stages of Las Vegas, to the music classrooms of Guam, and to music venues worldwide, David Janssen is making his mark. For more than 25 years, David Janssen has played his way from the Rock N Roll outback to the Rock N Roll mainstream, both on the U.S. mainland and around the world. Dave Janssen has toured extensively in the U.S., Canada, and Asia.

 

David Janssen is a talented and gifted songwriter. His music has been heavily influenced by The Beatles, particularly the songwriting team of John Lennon, and Paul McCartney. He has also been referred to as the "Raffi of the Pacific Islands." His latest efforts are influenced by the island of Guam where he lived for several years. In keeping with Dave's desire to teach music to the children of the world, Dave has recorded Hafa Adai! Fun Songs from Guam and Around the World an album showcasing several new children's songs penned especially for the people of Guam, and children everywhere.  
The International Reading Association of Guam used Dave's "Lost In A Book" as its 2002 and 2003 Read-A-Thon theme song.  These year's campaigns were some of the most successful Read-A-Thons, ever.  "Lost In A Book" was performed at the International Reading Association's state convention in Greensboro, North Carolina.
