Junior in 2009: Varsity Volleyball Team as a Defensive Specialist/ Libero playing key role and winning State Championship. Starting Libero/Defensive Specialist for Platinim to Gold Club Volleyball team traveling to all Western Tournaments including Las Vegas, Spokane, Reno, Sacromento. Will be starting Varsity Pitcher and participate in Club Softball traveling team summer 2009.
Sophomore in 2008: Played Varsity volleyball as a Defensive Specialist/ Libero. Played varsity softball as the starting pitcher and/or 1st baseman and was named Most Improved Player. That summer I played on summer league softball team. Played junior varsity basketball as a starting point guard.
Freshman in 2007: Played junior varsity volleyball as an Outside Hitter. Played junior varsity basketball as a starting point guard. Played junior varsity as a pitcher/ outfielder. During the winter and the summer of that year I played for No Dinx volleyball club.
Elementary years: In middle school I played on a volleyball team that took second in a tournament and went undefeated throughout the regular season. I played on basketball team in 6th grade. In 4th grade I played on a softball t-ball team and a soccer team.
Club competition: played for the Mid Valley No Dinx volleyball club freshman year. And played on a summer league softball team freshman and sophomore year.
Personal: Daughter of Nathan and Cyndie Hightower. Sister’s Lacey Hightower has a full ride at WOU as a music major and Corinne Corey played Varsity Softball went on to play in the All-star game her senior year is now coaching and pursuing golf professionally. Brother Ryan played high school football and now plays key role in youth development at our local church. I love to watch all sports and go to professional football and baseball games. I love children and hope to be an elementary teacher or a pediatric nurse and am looking into sports field journalism.
