Center for
Christian Study
The vision of University Christian Ministries, Inc. and the Center for Christian Study is to serve Jesus Christ by fostering the serious
consideration in the university environment of a Biblical worldview, and by encouraging and facilitating the wise discussion of the Truth in light of
the challenges of contemporary culture.
Our mission is to provide opportunities and resources for corporate and individual investigation of the truths of historic Christian faith in
response to the questions raised by contemporary society.

Elmbrook
The Elmbrook Christian Study Center began in 1981 out of a desire to provide a serious level of Christian study in the context of the local church. Elmbrook
Church has made a major commitment in offering facilities and staff to carry out this mission. The Study Center provides a vital link between the church and the
college or seminary for committed believers who want to enhance their knowledge of the Bible and its application to life or for believers who want to begin a
theological education that will prepare them for ministry or missions.

L'Abri Fellowship
L'Abri began in 1955 when Francis and Edith Schaeffer decided to open their home to people with questions about the Christian faith. Chalet Les Melezes became a place where such questions were freely aired and discussed in a non-threatening environment.
The Schaeffers sought to provide a spiritual and intellectual "shelter", where people could be helped to both know and live the truth of biblical Christianity. As time went by so many people came that others joined the Schaeffers in their work.
Today there are six branches in Europe and the USA all sharing in their vision and purpose.
