My trade policy: Trades are always 1 for 1, whether audio or video. I sometimes can copy SVCD but sometimes not - I will at least try. I get trades out within two weeks, usually sooner; however, they rarely take precedence over my "real" life and I certainly don't expect you to rush for me, either. If you're in a hurry for the discs, let me know up front and maybe we can work something out.
Source: Please do not use MP3-sourced material unless we make a special (explicit) agreement. SHN source is fine. Please do not copy (pirate) officially-licensed CDs. Import labels from outside the USA are fine (like Crystal Cat, Rattlesnake, etc), but never the artists' labels - they deserve their royalties.
Requests for preparation: Please use 80-minute brand-name (like TDK, Sony, or Fuji) CDR media data or music/audio CD-R. Please extract entire CD as a disk image using digital audio extraction (DAE), then write the image from the hard drive using disk-at-once (DAO) at half your burner's rated speed (or slower.) I don't care whether you write on the backs of the discs, though I DO care if there are fingerprints (or anything else) on the tracks. I don't listen to the discs before mailing them, nor do I expect you to do that, but if there's a problem discovered after the trade, the disc should be replaced promptly.
Requests for mailing: Please mail the CDs 1st class in bubble wrap envelopes with individual discs in protective sleeves.
