There are also many programs spronsored through the schools like Future Farmers of America, sporting events, etc. Then there is one of my favorite programs the 4-H which offers the youth a vast array of different projects that they can take part in. We must never forget some of the oldest forms of youth involvement and learning. The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America.

The youth of Lebanon has the opportunity of walking to the banks of the South Santiam River to fish, swim or just enjoy the company of friends.
