Congressional Observer Publications has created an additional vote-format. We are not replacing our existing vote-format but adding a new State-ordered format that will be available to all C.O.P. subscribers. For a time, we will make certain votes available to everyone as samples of the new format.

For years we have provided a State-ordered format to email subscribers. We could not offer both formats to web-access subscribers due to space limitations. Now, we are able to post both formats for a period of time. At the end of that time, we will remove old State-format votes and replace them with new State-format votes. We will place all the votes on a CD-ROM disk (or ZIP disk) and offer individuals the option of disk-updates. At the end of the year, we will offer a complete list of all House and Senate votes in both formats on a single disk. We are currently working on a third format that may be ready soon. This third format will also be added to the CD-ROM disk. [A disk with all votes this year is now available].

Regardless, you can find out how ALL members of Congress voted on EVERY rollcall vote in 2000 (in either or both formats) with a $35 web-access subscription to Congressional Observer Publications' Complete Congressional Votes. C.O.P. Votes include unique statistical information and links to legislation, members' web pages, email addresses, biographical data, & vote reports (number of missed votes, etc.).

ORDERING INFORMATION

To use one of the disk updates, you must have a CD-ROM Drive or a ZIP Drive in your IBM/Compatible computer. You must also know how to use your browser to access files on your computer (i.e., File-Open).

The cost of monthly CD-ROM disk-updates in just $75 (ZIP disks will be updated 4 times a year at a cost of $100).
