Res. 244, permitting the use of the rotunda of the Capitol for a ceremony as part of the commemoration of the days of remembrance of victims of the Holocaust. 6:26 PM

Amend the Controlled Substances Act: By a Yea and Nay vote of 339 yeas to 2 nays, Roll No. 3, 2/3 of the House (290) agreed to suspend the rules and agree to the Senate amendments to H.R. 2130, to amend the Controlled Substances Act to add gamma hydroxybutyric (GHB) acid and ketamine [known as "date rape drugs"] to the schedules of control substances, to provide for a national awareness campaign, and for other purposes, clearing the measure for action by the President.
